Currently, I am majoring as a Science Specialization Student at John Tyler. I have been attending John Tyler mostly at the Midlothian campus since Fall of 2012. So, for me, that's two years and two summers including this one. I'm hoping to graduate with an associates degree in Science Specialization as close to the Spring of 2015 as possible.
Up to this point, I have taken 71 credits worth of courses after graduating High School. That count is obtained without subtracting credits for courses repeated or for courses that will not count towards my associates degree, and by adding the credit hours I took during my Freshmen year at Christopher Newport University that was oriented as a Biology Bachelor of Science Major. However, I'm not quite sure because my unofficial transcript --I think-- counts me for having 102 cumulative credits which includes my biotechnology dual enrollment class that I took through the Chesterfield Technical Center my Junior year of high school. If I play my cards right, after this class I should just be 21 credits away from graduating with my "Associate of Sciences (General Studies- Science Specialization)" according to a chart that my counselor and I filled out.
After that, my hope is to transfer to a University to get a Bachelor degree that is little more specialized than what I've experienced before. That way, I have the basic skills and education that I would need for the career I choose. Some examples of Universities I'm thinking of transferring into include Virginia Commonwealth University, Liberty University, and Longwood University where they specialize in different science Bachelor degrees.
I was motivated to choose American Literature to take over the summer because I imagined that I might enjoy it better than Shakespeare and that I might be comfortably reading for my summer homework outside of class.
As far as my occupation or career goals go I have considered being a Nurse, a Physical Therapist, a Forensic Scientist, a Veterinarian, and a Teacher in the past but I'm still not sure exactly what I want to do. I'm hoping that maybe I can narrow it down to one occupation by the time I'm ready to transfer to my Bachelor program. Who knows, I may even decide later to continue my education beyond a Bachelor's degree.
Outside the classroom my interests and hobbies lie in singing, dancing, sailing, and horseback riding. I don't really keep up with any of them these days but I always have an interest to pick them up again.

Proposal for argument paper--part 1

Why hi there! Okay, so I'm not really moving all too fast at all in trying to write a proposal for my next big English paper. Therefore I'm going to write a little bit about it here: -where I type things out
-Nobody worries about Grammar (or anything really)
-If anyone random wants to share some helpful opinions-Sweet!
-And I can just copy and paste my own words to a word document for some cleaning later.
So, on that note.. Let's get started! :bademoticon:
Okay! so this is an argument paper that will look at TV influences- specifically anime
The passion and personal connection to this paper is:
1) How much I'm into anime like Sailor Moon right now and how I think it'd be interesting to speak FOR anime being based on stories, culture, and real people (unlike cartoons as much)
2) My boyfriend's sister, Serena, survived from a suicide attempt and she watched an anime tv series called Death Note around that time.
Like similar arguments in the News to video game and movie influences vs. the mental health and stability of the person,
I want to argue that the anime is not to blame and that it is the condition of the person.
There are definitely better ways to word it, but I think I can move on and it'll become clearer as I go.
And because I'm going to choose to take this in baby steps and I'm becoming deviantart savvy as I go, I'm going to write this journal in the next two days in parts. Woo!

My last journal seemed too emotional, outdated, and just made me sound like a jerk maybe..so just a quick update because honestly I need to get some english homework done today.
But I really want to do this! So let's begin this rushed/speedy thing.
Birthday Was AWESOME! Got to do a couple of bucket list adventures with my boyfriend, Dillon. (even though him watching me get a haircut and the two of us getting manicures is what I mean by that!)
Got to see my friends and play a fun game of life with them. (seriously, the board game. Although we play the other one all the time 
lol)
My friend, Melissa gave me an adorable Octavia Plushie to match the AppleJack one that she gave me! Which also inspired me to reorganize the pony figurines in my room. In looking up hot topic stuff that I might like to get myself I was reminded of my fandom for sailor moon. Gosh I wish they'd come back to the idea of a reboot that they should've had out by now.
In pokemon, Dillon and I still share a DS (or at least I want him to keep us thinking that way until I get my own which might be soon..
)
I am also at the elite four and for my first time in any of the pokemon games, I did the elite four part for the first time. I got to my fourth person and lost though. (but hey! it was my first time!) so now I'm going to go back to victory road with my team and train some with the trainers I cleverly passed on my way there (because I had Dillon right beside me wanting to see me beat the elite four on one of our dates).I can't find an exact emotocon to lighten my spirits for it- but last night I watched kiki's delivery service in celebration of getting through two tests and trying to study while the verizon guy tried to set up my house for three rooms (one being mine) to have cable capabilities. 
Soooo back to writing... So far I'm writing about "my favorite tv show" and I was in between pokemon (which I do while I eat food because it doesn't take much effort and because I'm trying to learn more, sailor moon (still trying to think of myself as superfan), or -currently what I'm working on- My Little Pony (because I can pull many reasons as to why it is a good tv show and the plot has more to say about it than some of Sailor Moon and the old pokemon's predictable plots)

So lately I've been in a offset because I haven't been able to play pokemon x and y yet and I've been obsessing about it for about 3 months now. In fact, I even have the game but I can't play it until I get a 3ds. 
I know that I'm probably not one to talk because many people are waiting til a good point to get the game that makes sense for them and that especially includes many kids that probably have to wait until Christmas.
I know that I'm probably not one to talk because many people are waiting til a good point to get the game that makes sense for them and that especially includes many kids that probably have to wait until Christmas.But, if you readers would like to hear my story and offer some kind of advice as far as the strength to not spoil the game for myself before I get it, to put DOWN pokemon and study/work hard at times when I feel I really wish I had the game already, or anything of the wait-time and in-between time nature (that's actually good and not like "GIVE IN" to the point I demand to borrow a friend's 3ds but maybe to the small things)...

Kay so basically, because my boyfriend is also my best friend and has played -I think- every generation of the pokemon games. In our conversations I went from missing my long lost original ds, to one day we would both play pokemon soulsilver and heart gold (because he was playing it and I should try it and play with him), to OHMAHGOSH! POKEMON X AND Y!
Therefore I got excited about it, spilled all my excitment on him, and was excited to play it with him.
Well around it's release, he got the game for both of us and borrowed his roommate's 3ds to let me play it for a little bit
Needless to say it was awesome!Nevertheless it had to end for awhile for me. 
As for my boyfriend that said he would play at my pace for a change (or with me)
he played through six gyms midway through that week. (As I would playfully say with the hinted wrath "Jerk").:bademoticon:So then I thought to myself "Aha! but there could be an advantage to this!"
Because I now know that he has both pokemon x and pokemon y game cards now
He can go ahead and play Y at his own speed and train one or some pokemon to give(trade) to me, and then he'll have to play X at my speed and experience the quality of the game like I do (sortof).
Today I called him about strength in resisting pokemon x and was one the line with both him and our good friend who said "Give in." -.- after explaining how I can't do that I diverted the attention to questions about the FireRed game he gave me because he took away the other game he gave me- SoulSilver
(he did that because he wants me to finish FireRed first and for the first time for me, beat the elite 4):bademoticon: yayyy
and I also found out that he has trained 2 pokemon to help me out (one of which I plan to give back to him) and that he just recently beat the elite 4 of the Y game before either of us has our own 3ds. :bademoticon:
So here I am hours later from the conversation, on a great place to look up stuff people have created related to pokemon x and y asking for their thoughts 
I also picked out some more cool looking emoticons by our brilliant artists for different reasons. Though, because this was already lengthy, or at a good length, I will only say why if someone asks

But I do plan to get a 3ds and start playing if anyone maybe wants to battle or possibly trade in the future.

I have the Sonic Dash game on my phone to thank for opening up my curiosity to it. As of today I just unlocked all the characters and I hope I can get Shadow (after 100 laps!! 0.0)
